Way back in the beginning of my "Blogging" (just a few days ago) I mentioned that we were living in our toy hauler in Overton. Let me just paint a picture for you of our home. We have your usual kitchen, complete with a stove, sink and a fridge big enough to put 3 waters, 2 diet cokes, a 1/2 gallon of milk and if your very creative about stacking, maybe some eggs! Next we move on to the living room (about 1 step away from the kitchen). Here we have our couch, table, TV, and................well thats about it for the Living Room. Just beyond that (Yes, again about 1 step away you will find Jax's bed. Its actually two queen sized beds at the end of the toy hauler. Im including a pic of Kevin and Jax, on Jax's bed. (Kevin is the "Chosen One" the only living soul that Jax will let anywhere near his bed.)

Above his bed is the guest room (the other queen sized bed). Now turn completely around and head the other direction, about 6 steps and you will be at the bottom of our staircase (2 steps) leading to the bathroom and the "Master Retreat". The bath has the usual potty, sink (very small of course) and shower (FULLSIZE, YEAHHH!) The "Master Retreat" includes another queen size bed (pop-out), full length closet, and TV, (I sound like Im trying to sell a home LOL :)). My whole point of telling you all this is because I have finally after 43 years come to realize that your home is what you make of it, and just for the record, I LOVE THIS ONE!!! We have lived in so many homes in our 26 years of marriage and I can honestly say that I love this the most (oh sure I miss being able to hang all of my pictures and move furniture around) but thats not what its all about. Its about the closeness (literally, we can't walk anywhere without bumping into one another) that we feel.

All joking aside, this has been an incredible opportunity living here at Mom and Dads, knowing this is truly where we are meant to be, for however long we need to be here. I would not trade the times we had with Rodger, our special angel, for anything in this world.

I truly believe that if you open your heart and listen that you will be guided and directed by our Heavenly Father. Five years ago, this is not how I would have guessed that things would be. But when you pray for answers and truly open your heart, and listen, you may directed in a path that you never dreamt about before. And believe me when I say that these past 10 months living here have been not only a blessing but a dream, an opportunity to become closer to one another as well as Mom and Dad and especially to RODGER!!!!

OK, I had a friend tell me today that Blogging is indeed a disease and that I will ultimately end up with "Bloggers Butt"! Should I regret my long, hard decision to Blog? LOL! :) I really must admit that I have enjoyed bouncing from one blog to another. I have found many friends that I haven't heard about for years. This has accomplished two things. One, I realized that blogging is an awesome way to check in on everyone and see how they are and how fast their families are growing, which leads me to number two, I am getting OLD! Lots of the blogs I have seen today are of girls that I had in Primary, Young Womens or were in my boys school classes when I was a room mother. They all have children. I have said it before and I will say it again, they have all grown up and I am still 22...............not exactly sure how that happened! LOL

OK, its official. I am a blogging JUNKIE! I spend hours in front of this darn computer reading everyones bloggs and continually changing mine. How is a girl supposed to get anything else done. Everybody told me that I needed to have my own Blog, but they left out the part about how addicting it is. Is anyone aware of a BA (Bloggers Anonymous)?

FUN TAG

OK here's the rules; Go into your picture files and open the 4th folder and download the 4th picture onto your blog!!! Write your memories of the photo.
This is a picture of our very special Brother, Rodger. Rodger returned to live with our Heavenly Father on October 10, 2008 after a long battle with Alzheimers Disease. What an ANGEL! He will truly be missed. I will be a better person for having had the opportunity to have Rodger in my life. Rodger taught me so many lessons in life, one of the greatest lessons is that of loving everyone UNCONDITIONALLY. He could never find a negative about anyone (except Freddie, a school mate that liked the same girl in school that he did, and even then Im sure he loved him. LOL)
Family was the most important part of his life. His greatest saying was "My Whole Family!" He loved family parties, birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, anything that brought the family together.
In the picture he is holding Jaidyn, John and Danila's daughter when she was tiny. This must have been 6 or 7 years ago.
I tag: Nicole, Danila and Ann Marie

Brittany's boss Dr. Milne and his wife gave Brittany and Deryck a wedding shower today at "Lucille's", a restaurant in Las Vegas. All of the staff from the office, as well as Brittany's parents, Jessica (her sister) and Kevin and I were invited. Just like yesterday they recieved alot of great gifts, and the food was wonderful! (Sorry about the fuzzy pic, I took it on my cell phone.)

Today was Brittany's wedding Shower. Her cousin Casey had a "Surprise Shower" for her in Las Vegas. Casey is awesome and Harley is adorable. She had a great turnout and got lots of good stuff.
